The Fellowship of Crystal Meth Anonymous works a Twelve Step program of recovery.
We have not felt the need to elaborate in great detail a specific CMA approach to the Twelve Steps:
too many other excellent outlines already exist for following these spiritual principles.
But our experience has shown that without the Steps we could not stay sober.*CMA General Services Conference 2008

CMA PMB555 NewsletterDecember 2009 Happy Holidays, we hope you and yours are well and getting ready for the holidays, decorating trees and hanging the lights. We are reminded how blessed we are to have family, fellowship and friends close by this time of year.
Can you believe we close out another decade and welcome a new one in a few weeks? Looking back over the past 10 years we are reminded of all that our fellowship has accomplished since 2000. Today there are nearly 500 meetings serving recovering crystal meth addicts throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia. This is remarkable growth from our first meeting 15 years ago in Los Angeles. We are preparing for the second CMA General Service Conference to be held March 4th – 7th, 2010, in New York City. The conference centers on issues of importance to the CMA fellowship. It is important to have as many Area Delegates, along with members of our fellowship, in attendance as possible; we hope to see you there. Check the conference website at: cmaconference.com for further details as they become available.
Several GSC Committees have been preparing for the conference, and have received GSC interim-approval for items to be included in the upcoming Conference Delegate packet. Those items include:
Both new interim-approved literature pieces, "To the Newcomer" and "Service in CMA – What is H&I", are available for download and distribution within the fellowship from the CMA website in the documents download area. Other News of the Fellowship The Arizona Area Intergroup of CMA will hold its 5th annual convention July 30th through August 1st, 2010, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort, 2532 West Peoria Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85029. Las Vegas has organized an Intergroup and currently has 9 CMA meetings and 2 H&I meetings per week. And finally, CMA South Florida held two fun-raisers to promote sending our delegate to WSC '10 in NYC! These were a Halloween costume ball in October in Miami and a "Sober White Party" in Fort Lauderdale held over Thanksgiving weekend. We are told both were a tremendous success as well as lots of fun! © Crystal Meth Anonymous, Inc., 2008-2010.
